After going through a whole host of other troubleshooting steps, we have determined that the issue is specific to the 12.1.0 and 12.1.1 versions of Premiere Pro 2018 that was launched in April of 2018. There is an note in the list of bug fixes stating "Some mov files do not use the native libraries" but it is unclear if this is specifically what is causing the issue.
I just tried to import a file PM4 file from my Xiaomi Yi 4K+ and I am getting this nasty error: File Import Failure. The importer reported a generic error. ImporterMPEG (Importer:39) and ImporterQuickTime (Importer:57)I am using PC Windows 10 Pro. However, I have another laptop running the previous version of Premiere Pro CC 2018 12.1.1 and there works fine. Please fix that nasty bug!!! I cannot use my files on the main PC!!!

I am experiencing adobe premiere and windows errors and crashes with the latest Quadro drivers. The crash happens as soon as I load a video in adobe premiere with a Opengl crash message. It also happens when I quite adobe premiere. My display goes black with some colored blocks and then resumes.
Since I have upgraded to adobe premiere CC 2018 and still facing the same problem.Last driver I used was 390.77I am also getting this error repetitively in windows error report:NvAPI_GPU_GetBrandType failed with code=-1 2ff7e9595c
